Ode to Autumn: From Pooley Bridge (almost) to Aira Force
At eve: how softly then Doth Aira force, that torrent hoarse Speak from the woody…
What I have called my “Wordsworth Sunday with Tracey” was the highlight of my third visit to the Lake District. Rydal Mount is a must-revisit while the enchanting Dora’s Field, where the daffodils were in full bloom – a sight only for those fortunate enough to visit at this time – was for me a dream come true. Tracey looked after us like family, making sure we got back to where we were staying for the night, even after her time with us was done. I look forward to visiting again, exploring the Lakes further, with Tracey!
“Huge thanks for making our trip in the Lake District so special and helping us to make memories that will last a lifetime. My parents are interested in history as well as horticulture, so they particularly enjoyed discovering the gardens at Levens Hall with Tracey. Thanks so much for a perfect day! “
“Such a wonderful day weaving our way through the constantly changing landscape with Tracey as our ever-attentive and well-informed guide! On our way by bus from Kendal via Windermere to Ullswater, Tracey was constantly prepared to share some of the local history and folklore and made sure we were always ready for the appearance of yet another special place or noted viewpoint.”
